Denise Fox

Denise Fox, Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, Master Herbalist, has been massaging horses and dogs for over 35 years. She was the owner and instructor of Bridge Creek Ranch School of Equine Massage until she retired in 2010. Her love of animals and the desire to help them to be as pain free as possible calls her back to teaching occasionally.

Animal massage can address common but evasive problems that often bewilder owners and trainers.

As with “people massage”, animal massage reduces muscle tension, easing movement and increasing range of motion. With massage, we can alleviate pain, accelerate injury recovery and help to avoid future injuries. Animal massage stimulates the digestive system, calms the nervous system and enhances the circulatory system.

As a young person, Denise rescued many thoroughbreds off the racetrack. She studied body movement and massage to rehabilitate their bodies and minds. This led to an animal massage practice , teaching clinics and, ultimately, teaching a certification course for many years.
